Sparkling Imagination: Improvisation Workshop with Horacio Macuacua [MZ/ESP]
“The workshop evolves with what the group offers, as the ability to create and to compose physically require training and attention as well as technique or style. Through the group process the participants learn from each other through acceptance and transformation, collaboration and observation of their own dance and of the whole group. Let’s dive into the work, get the engines started and let the imagination flow! Let’s dance!”
Dates: Monday to Friday, February 17 - February 21
Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Location: Courtyard Studio, Room 4525, School for the Contemporary Arts, Simon Fraser University, 149 W Hastings St, Vancouver
Cost: $300 CAD (50% discount for SFU students or alumni)

Class Policies for 2024/25 Season:
1. Class capacity: 30
2. Masks are recommended in all common areas at the Dance Centre, and optional during class.
3. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.
4. No cash, card payments only.
* If you have an existing class card with remaining classes, please send an email with your class card information and we will offer a promo code to you.
5. 4 hour cancellation policy: If you cancel before 4 hours of class starting, you will receive a credit for your purchase that you can use another time (within 1 month)
If you cancel within the 4 hours, you will not receive a credit.
6. Wait list:
If classes are sold out, please sign up for the waitlist!
If a spot becomes available, you will have one hour to purchase your spot before moving on to the next person.
7. Class Cancellations
If The Dance Centre or TSV cancels class for COVID-related reasons, you will keep your classes as a credit to be used at a future class. You must use this credit within 1 month of the cancelled class(es).
